About Us:
Founded in 2006 in Whittier, this optometry practice began by sharing a small space with Whittier Pediatrics Group on Painter Avenue. From just a handful of patients on opening day, it quickly grew to become one of the highest rated and most recognized optometry practices in the Whittier area. Patient care has always been the top priority, with the team dedicated to doing everything possible to support their needs. To accommodate continued growth and expanded services, the practice acquired and relocated to a larger facility on Penn Street in February 2020. Today, the team includes four doctors and ten staff members, serving over 50,000 residents in Whittier and the surrounding communities.
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Creative Biller Virtual Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will handle patient communications, assist with billing tasks, and maintain social media platforms with engaging content. This position requires excellent multitasking abilities, strong customer service skills, and a creative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer patient phone calls, text messages, and email inquiries.
• Schedule appointments and check order statuses.
• Process and manage billing tasks accurately.
• Maintain and create engaging content for social media platforms (graphics, reels, etc.).
• Handle fax reports and other administrative tasks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a problem-solving approach.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service or billing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment. • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using multiple software tools.
• Creativity and ability to generate engaging content for social media.
• Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and a quick learner.
Tools You Will Use:
• Eyefinity EPM/EHR
• Weave
• Google Applications (Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
• Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Suite
Working Hours:
• Full-Time (40+ hours per week)
• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST (Graveyard Shift)
