Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced US-based accountant to join a construction company. You will be handling financial management, bookkeeping, and reporting tailored to the unique dynamics of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks

• Handle construction-specific accounting tasks, including job costing and project budgets

• Monitor accounts receivable and payable

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

• Assist in tax preparation and compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

• Maintain organized records and support audits when necessary

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations

• Proficient in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)

• Experience with project/job costing

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Tools You Will Use:

• QuickBooks

• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

• Microsoft Excel

• Slack or similar communication tools

• Time-tracking and productivity tools

Details:

• Full-Time 40hrs/wk Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM EST

• Graveyard Shift (US Timezone)

• Rate: $6-7/HR
