Job Description:

We’re looking for a smart, detail-oriented Research & Tech Operations Associate who can operate at the intersection of regulatory research, business development, and workflow technology. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing analytical tasks with project coordination and vendor communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Regulatory Support

• Navigate regulatory databases (e.g., Health Canada NNHPD) to support product compliance.

• Compile ingredient dossiers and scientific documentation.

• Compare regulatory frameworks between Canada and the U.S.

• Research and liaise with approved manufacturers and fulfillment centers.

• Support compliant labeling and documentation processes.

Business Development & Vendor Outreach

• Draft inquiry emails and negotiate with suppliers.

• Track vendor information, MOQs, and pricing.

• Coordinate freelancers or agencies for creative and technical projects.

• Manage communication across international vendors.

Market & Competitive Research

• Analyze competitor products, branding, and pricing.

• Build research decks and insight summaries to support product strategy.

• Track trends in nutraceuticals, AI, and telehealth.

Project & Workflow Management

• Build dashboards using Monday.com or ClickUp.

• Design task automations and maintain project documentation.

• Coordinate R&D, regulatory, and tech team timelines.

Technical & Data Operations

• Organize and validate data from various sources (EMRs, lab reports, etc.).

• Work with CSV, Excel, or JSON formats.

• Support automation via Zapier or Make (Integromat).

• Create basic reports using Google Data Studio or Power BI.

Communication & Writing

• Draft professional correspondence for agencies and vendors.

• Prepare summaries, briefings, and light marketing copy.

• (Bonus) Spanish fluency for supplier communication.

Qualifications:

• Degree or background in Health Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Business, or Technology.

• 2+ years of experience in supplement, biotech, or tech-enabled startups preferred.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-driven.

• Self-motivated and proactive learner.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects and working remotely.

• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

• Monday.com / ClickUp

• Canva / Photoshop / Figma

• Zapier / Make (Integromat)

• Shopify / Amazon Seller Central (optional)

• Google Data Studio / Power BI

Working Hours:

• Part-Time (20 hours/week)

• Flexible schedule aligned with Pacific Time (Graveyard Shift)
