Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Technology Auditor to assess and ensure the security, compliance, and functionality of our technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, cybersecurity practices, and audit processes. You will be responsible for auditing internal and customer systems, ensuring adherence to best practices, and recommending improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit Internal and Customer Systems:Conduct comprehensive audits of internal technology systems, hosted systems, and customer infrastructures.
• Security and Compliance Assessment: Evaluate security measures and ensure systems are compliant with industry standards and best practices.
• Identify and Recommend Improvements: Identify vulnerabilities and inefficiencies within the systems and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
• System Review and Documentation: Review the functionality and performance of technology systems and document all findings in the BookStack system.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with internal IT teams to implement improvements and track progress.
• Agreement Auditing: Audit customer agreements to ensure all services provided are accurately charged and deployed.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT auditing, technology assessments, or similar roles.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with network infrastructure, including WAN/LAN, firewalls, switches, routers, and other devices.
• Tool Knowledge: Experience with systems like Kaseya VSA, Auvik, ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, and other relevant IT management tools.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to identify vulnerabilities and inefficiencies, with a keen eye for detail.
• Customer Interaction: Comfortable working with clients via phone and email, providing timely troubleshooting support and audit recommendations.

• Security Protocols Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and related technologies.
• Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to spot issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to present audit findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-Driven: A motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Non-Negotiables:
• Must work during specified hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure place to work.
• Screenshot and productivity tracker may be required for monitoring work progress.
• Must have a good credit score.
• Rate: $5/ hour
