Job Description:

As our Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing compelling video content for various platforms. Your work will help increase engagement, improve content quality, and create a consistent brand presence.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to bring creative ideas to the table—not just follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form videos

• Add captions, transitions, music, and sound effects

• Incorporate branding elements and graphics

• Create thumbnails and basic promotional graphics

• Repurpose content for different platforms

• Organize video files and maintain structured folders

• Meet deadlines consistently

We sometimes ask for flexible support on related tasks, but nothing outside your skill set—and always with clear communication.

Required Tools & Skills:

You must have experience with:

• CapCut

• Canva

• Photoshop

• AI tools (ChatGPT or similar tools for captions, scripts, or ideas)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing

• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement

• Ability to follow brand guidelines

• Strong English communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Excellent communicator — clear and responsive

• Reliable and consistent with deadlines

Non-Negotiables:

• Must be able to work starting at 12PM EST

• Screenshot and productivity tracker required for accountability

• Must have a good credit score

• Rate: $5 per hour
