Job Description:
Virtual Dream Team is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator specializing in exterior cladding, façade systems, or related building-envelope scopes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review complete architectural, structural, specification, addenda, RFI, schedule, and bid-document packages to identify all relevant scope requirements.
• Perform accurate, organized digital takeoffs for cladding, panels, soffits, copings, flashings, insulation, subframing, membranes, accessories, labor, equipment, and related items.
• Identify scope gaps, conflicting details, substrate and attachment concerns, testing requirements, long-lead materials, and other estimating risks.
• Prepare clear proposals covering inclusions, exclusions, alternates, allowances, assumptions, pricing, warranties, lead times, and acknowledged documents.
• Manage addenda, RFIs, vendor pricing, takeoff updates, proposal revisions, and organized revision histories throughout the bidding period.
• Coordinate professionally with general contractors, architects, manufacturers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Track submitted bids through award and document outcomes, competitive positioning, scope differences, and follow-up opportunities.
• Analyze bid performance, pricing trends, margins, costs, and win rates to support stronger future estimating decisions.

What We're Looking For:
• 3–5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, with exterior cladding, metal panels, roofing, glazing, waterproofing, or building-envelope experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to independently interpret complete commercial plan sets, specifications, schedules, details, addenda, and RFIs.
• Strong digital takeoff and cost-estimating skills, including material, labor, waste, accessory, equipment, and freight considerations.
• Excellent written and verbal English for clear communication with GCs, vendors, architects, and internal stakeholders.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and judgment—you verify information, document assumptions, and flag risks early.
• Reliable, self-directed work habits with the ability to manage multiple firm bid deadlines without constant supervision.

Working Hours:
• Remote schedule with reliable availability during agreed working hours overlapping with the Mountain Time Zone. Consistent attendance and dependable deadline management are essential.
