Job Description:
Virtual Dream Team is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished, engaging content. You’ll handle the editing process from start to finish, creating professional videos that are visually strong, well-paced, and aligned with the intended message and audience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and professional final content.
• Create clean cuts, transitions, captions, graphics, and other visual elements that improve the viewing experience.
• Organize video files, footage, audio, and project assets for an efficient editing workflow.
• Enhance audio, color, pacing, and overall video quality to maintain a consistent professional standard.
• Adapt edits for different platforms, formats, and content requirements when needed.
• Apply feedback accurately and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate closely with the team to understand creative direction, priorities, and project goals.
• Maintain consistency in editing style, branding, and visual presentation across projects.

We sometimes ask for flexible support on related tasks, but nothing outside your skill set and always with clear communication.

Required Tools:
• Professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
• Canva or similar graphic design tools
• Google Drive
• Online communication and project management tools

What We're Looking For:
• Proven video editing experience with a portfolio that demonstrates strong editing, pacing, and visual storytelling skills.
• A confident, go-getter attitude with the determination to take ownership of projects and deliver quality work.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing cuts, captions, audio, transitions, and visual consistency.
• A curious and creative mindset with a willingness to learn new editing techniques, tools, and content styles.
• Ability to follow creative direction while also suggesting improvements that make videos more engaging.
• Reliable time management and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and respond well to feedback.

Working Hours:
• This is a 20-hour-per-week role, working within the 9:00 AM–4:00 PM PST schedule.
• Rate: $5 USD per hour.
