Mary Anne Borja brings empathy, professionalism, and people-first leadership to every role she takes on. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2012–2016), she has spent the last seven years building deep expertise in Human Resources. Handling everything from end-to-end recruitment and employee relations to performance management, compensation and benefits, training, onboarding/offboarding, and HR compliance. Her well-rounded background makes her both strategic and compassionate in supporting teams and organizations.
In addition to her HR experience, Mary Anne also spent two years in the BPO industry as a Provider Service Advocate/CSR for a US-based insurance company. There, she strengthened her communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills while supporting clients in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments. She is known for her ability to connect with people, listen with intention, and deliver solutions with clarity and care.
At 30 years old, Mary Anne is happily married and a proud mother to a 2-year-old son who inspires her daily. Her journey into virtual work began from a deeply personal place. Wanting to be more present for her child after seeing how difficult daily onsite work separation had become. Encouraged by her husband, she explored remote opportunities and took a leap of faith after their wedding. Despite fears and uncertainty, she chose growth, and found a career path that allows her to balance motherhood and professional development.
Driven by a genuine desire to help others, Mary Anne is passionate about creating positive impact. Whether through her work, her family life, or her friendships. She loves learning new skills that stretch her capabilities and is motivated by the vision of building a better future for her family. Her favorite color, sky blue, reflects her love for calm beginnings and hopeful horizons. She enjoys light, feel-good shows like Friends, which never fails to lift her mood.
Though new to the community, Mary Anne already feels a strong sense of belonging. She values the supportive environment, meaningful connections, and daily mindset trainings that encourage learning and shared growth. With a heart for service and a commitment to continuous improvement, she is grateful to be part of a team where she feels heard, supported, and truly at home.
